1. Get the necessary HTML variables

To start with, we need to analyze the form which rapid-share uses to submit the files to their server, this can be done by seeing the page source code:

Let’s take a look at the form code:

rsuploadid=149017462993654077 -> This isn’t really necessary, though since we want to make a pretty uploader we will use it.

enctype=”multipart/form-data” -> Obviously the form enctype is a “multipart/form-data”

name=”filecontent” ->This is the variable which will “store” the file and then be sent to the server.

Now that we have all the information we can start coding our app

2. Creating the “Project”

In delphi, start a new project:

Once you’ve done this, make your form look like this:

Now drop a TidHTTP component on the form:

and also drop a OpenDialog component:

3. Configuring Indy HTTP

Let’s configure the indy events:

Now that our “IdHTTP” component is configured let’s proceed.

3. The code

Like you saw on the first step, we will need to extract text from inside HTML tags, I created a easy-to-understand function that we will use in this tutorial:

add the following in your uses “StrUtils”

In this tutorial I’ll guide you through the simple process that is to create a progress-bar, using PHP combined with HTML (and some CSS).

For WordPress Users

1. Download the necessary plug-in

First of all you need a plug-in which allows to use PHP code on a widget, the best is the one shown below:

2. The CSS

Follow the steps in the image:

(In step two you must scroll-down a little to find the “Styles” group.)

After click the “Stylesheet (style.css)” link, you should see a big white box, just add at the bottom of it the following code:

3. The PHP

Now that we finally added our CSS code we can finally add the code which will make the machine work:

After creating the file, access your website FTP, create a new directory in the main folder called “extras” and then put the “progbar.php” inside it.

Now go to your WordPress administration panel and where it says “Widgets” on the “Appearance” tab, click it and you should see a widget called “PHP code”

Drag this widget to the bars on the right and then enter the following info:

CreateBar( Total Progress, Done so far, Progress-bar Width, Project Name)

Hit save and voila! It’s done!

After reading carefully the explanation about cracking the router I decided to quickly code a application capable of retrieving the router Default Password and SSID, unfortunately it will work only if you know the routers serial number. Maybe in a future version you will be able to get the data using only the SSID. Subscribe to this post if you want to get updates.

Once you’ve inserted the serial in the first box, you will be able to get both password and SSID.
I included also a feature which let’s you Add/Save/Load a list with all of your serials.

Serial Number Explanation

Using the Thomson/Speedtouch serial number (example: CP0817AH1AB (A1) ), we are able to discover, not only the default password of the router but also the SSID

CP YY WW PP XXX (CC)

Each item has it’s own significance:

YY - Year of Production
WW – Production Week
PP – Product Code
XXX - Unkown
CC – Configuration Code

The XXX value, is unknown and must always be composed by capital letters and numbers.

Cracking Step-by-step

Let’s use the serial number “CP0817AH1AB” as an example:

• Remove the PP (AH) and it will result in CP08171AB
• Convert the 1AB to hexadecimal (below is a delphi example)

• The c0nverstion will result in 314142, add this to the part we left behind CP0817314142
• Now you need to create the SHA1 hash code of the last result (CP0817314142), which will be bc8c18aec9e740c37be79e7f2058c50fd922e4bb
  • bc8c18aec9 -Is the default router password (WEP/WPA)
  • 22e4bb -Is the SSID of the router

These few steps are all that’s necessary to crack a Thomson/Speedtouch router.
